Mission Statement
The White House Band Boosters shall exist to support the White House High School “Band of Pride”, hereafter referred to as the WHBOP, along with all its director(s) and staff. This goal shall be accomplished through raising funds for the program, attending and assisting with all events that the WHBOP is a part of and providing volunteers and assistance for all endeavors and projects within the program. In addition, the White House Band Boosters will strive to further the outstanding reputation of the WHBOP within the community at large.
The White House Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 62-1662414) under the guidelines of the White House High School, which promotes the objectives of the White House Band Boosters. The objectives of the White House Band Boosters are to provide financial assistance, to morally support the activities of the bands and to encourage community interest in the band programs while remaining non-sectarian and non-partisan.

Officer Responsibilities
PRESIDENT
Oversee all meetings of the WHBB and its Executive Board.
Provide agendas for all aforementioned meetings no later than one week prior to the scheduled event.
Oversee all committees or designate a representative to do so.
Act as liaison between the WHBB and the Band Director.
Coordinate meetings between the WHBB and faculty/staff of White House High School when needed.
Countersign any WHBB checks, as necessary.
VICE-PRESIDENT
Oversee all fundraising projects for the WHBB.
Coordinate with the Treasurer for all monies both disbursed and received.
Coordinate with the WHBB Executive Board for WHBB involvement in fundraising activities when necessary.
Designate a chairperson for individual fundraising efforts when necessary.
Oversee WHBB and WHBB Executive Board meetings in the absence of the President.
Sign any WHBB checks, as necessary.
Along with a 2nd WHBB member, count and verify money collected from fundraising events run by the WHBB. In the event the Vice-President is unavailable, a WHBB Executive Board officer (excluding the Treasurer) will be responsible for the counting and verification of money collected.
SECRETARY
Take minutes at all WHBB and WHBB Executive Board meetings.
Provide a copy of the previous meeting’s minutes for all WHBB and WHBB Executive Board meetings to be approved at each meeting.
Provide a copy of the previous meeting’s minutes to be viewed electronically through the WHBB website (or other Social Media platform) no later than one week after the meeting has taken place.
Review all correspondence from the WHBB prior to publication.
Collect all required forms from all students.
TREASURER
Collect invoices, receipts, and maintain balance(s) of the WHBB account(s).
Provide a Treasurer's Report for each meeting of the WHBB.
Provide a Treasurer's Report for each meeting of the WHBB Executive Board.
Financial documents including receipts, disbursements, and statements will be initialed by each WHBB Executive Board officer after review.
Provide monthly copies of the Treasurer's Report to be viewed electronically through the WHBB website (or other Social Media platform).
Provide a receipt of the final collection for each fundraiser.
Provide receipts to parents/students when needed.
Coordinate the collection, verification, and depositing of money from each fundraising event run by the WHBB.
CO-TREASURER (OPTIONAL)
Assist and learn the Treasurer position to assume duties of Treasurer in the subsequent year.
Collect and verify all monies turned in from fundraisers.
Provide financial reports and a final receipt to the individual fundraising coordinator(s) and the Vice-President after each fundraising event.
Provide cash boxes for fundraising events where necessary.
Establish a protocol for delivery and pick-up of money for all fundraising events.
Be responsible for all disbursements of the WHBB.
Coordinate with the Treasurer to maintain account records of the WHBB.
Collect, verify, and deposit money from each fundraising event run by the WHBB.
Must be done with the Treasurer so that all totals can be verified, and so that there are two people to take the collections to the night deposit.
Maintain the Kroger Community Rewards program and coordinate with the Treasurer for disbursement of revenue.
PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATOR (OPTIONAL)
Maintain the WHBOP website (and/or current Social Media platform).
Publish meeting minutes, financial summary, calendars, and other vital information through the WHBB website (and/or current Social Media platform).
Coordinate with the Band Director to oversee correspondence through Print Media.
Oversee or delegate cataloging of band activities throughout the year.
